Skillette House: Barcelona (September 3–7, 2025)

Skillette House Barcelona is a shared experience designed for people who value beauty, slowness, and connection.

You can expect mornings that begin with quiet breakfasts and fresh coffee in a sunlit kitchen. Afternoons filled with art, architecture, the sea, or a siesta depending on what your body is asking for. Evenings will bring natural wine, chef-driven meals, and good conversation around the table.

Our schedule is designed to be immersive but unhurried. You’ll have time to explore on your own, rest when you need to, and engage with the city in a way that feels personal and intentional, not performative.

This is a trip for people who want to live well and think deeply. For those who want to get to know a place, not just visit it.

• Four nights in a beautifully designed flat in the heart of Eixample

Double Occupancy (must book together*) $1600 

*This rate is for two people sharing a room with one queen bed and a private en suite bathroom. Due to the intimate nature of the space, you must book double occupancy with someone you know. You will not be paired with a stranger.

Skillette House: Barcelona Liability Waiver
September 3–7, 2025

This Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to all individuals (“Participants”) who purchase and attend the Skillette House: Barcelona retreat (the “Program”), hosted by Skillette.

By purchasing this trip, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that travel and participation in group culinary, recreational, and cultural activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, allergic reactions, physical exertion, travel delays, and unfamiliar environments. I voluntarily assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for any harm that may result.

2. Medical Conditions

I confirm that I am physically able to participate in all planned activities and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or dietary restrictions. I understand that Skillette does not provide medical care and is not responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

3. Personal Property

I understand that I am responsible for my belongings throughout the trip. Skillette is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

4. Culinary and Alcohol Experiences

This retreat includes food tastings, shared meals, and alcohol consumption. I accept all risks related to food and drink, including allergies, sensitivities, or overconsumption.

5. Third-Party Vendors and Independent Contractors

Some experiences are provided by third-party vendors (chefs, guides, artisans, etc.). I understand Skillette is not responsible for the conduct or performance of these independent providers.

6. Cancellation Policy

I understand that, due to the small-group nature of this experience and limited availability, this trip is non-refundable and non-transferable. I am encouraged to purchase travel insurance that includes trip cancellation protection.

7. Force Majeure

I acknowledge that Skillette will not be liable for delays, rescheduling, or cancellations due to events outside its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or airline interruptions. In such cases, Skillette will make reasonable efforts to provide alternate arrangements but cannot guarantee a refund.

8. Currency Exchange Risk

Retreat pricing is based on the USD-to-Euro exchange rate as of July 2025, which is approximately 1 USD = 0.92 EUR. I understand that if the exchange rate fluctuates by more than 20 percent from this baseline (for example, if 1 USD drops below 0.74 EUR), Skillette reserves the right to add a supplemental fee to cover the cost difference of Euro-denominated expenses.

9. Release of Liability

I expressly waive, release, discharge, and hold harmless Skillette, its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any of my property while participating in or traveling to or from this Program, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Photography and Media Consent

I grant Skillette permission to use photographs or video taken during the retreat for promotional and archival purposes, unless I request otherwise in writing prior to the trip.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.

By purchasing this trip, I agree to the terms above and understand my responsibilities as a participant.
